Ok, so we missed out on another house... I had a look at hemnet and all of a sudden it was gone, it just said SOLD! where it used to be a house =( It is not a massive disappointment, a little bit but it was a bit further away than we would have wanted. If nothing else I think this is a little wake up call that houses sell here in Älmhult and we probably have been a bit naive so far. But we'll keep looking, the most interesting at the moment is this one but it is a bit more money than we were planning on spending. And it is kind of in the middle of needing to be done up/renovated. But it is a better location, bigger block, and a nice glassed in veranda/room. Unfortunately not connected to the kitchen though.
It is less than a week left until Stephen goes to Australia. Then we hardly see each other in 3 weeks, apart from a short weekend when he is back and before I go to US.
Now we are gonna sulk a bit and watch a few episodes of how I met your mother.

I just finished watching Bridges of Madison county and maybe I cried a bit in the end. What a great love story. Now I am going to bed, waiting for Stephen to come home from a poker night. Not as great from a love story point of view and he better watch out if there is a handsome photographer swinging past to ask for the way ;-) just kidding...
Tomorrow night it is the first out of six shows on tv, maybe I should call it a competition, where winner will be the Swedish participant in eurovision song contest. Not sure if I can be bothered to follow them all, it will be all over tv and radio anyway, no chance to avoid it. I am thinking I will focus on the real deal instead, and by that I mean Eurovision song contest 2011 in Germany!
Oh and we had a look at the house today, the second time for Stephen, very interesting and we placed a bid on it before we left. The owner is in Thailand until end of March so they contact him via sms. I hope we will hear something back on Monday whether he accepts it or not. But there are no other people interested and it is not gonna be easy to get rid of so I am guessing the agent is keen to sell of it...
